Abstract
The Influences Of Russian Revolution On Azerbaijan: The Way Leading To Independence
Since the early 20th century, events occurring in Russia, especially revolutions and reflections of these revolutions like other regions were welcomed anxiety and joyfully. As a natural consequence of revolutions, Azerbaijan which was region of Tsarist Russian took place as an independent republic in the stage of history. Certainly independence was gained very difficult. In particular, the events that took place in Baku, political conflicts, national debates were the great impacts in Azerbaijan on the way to get independence. But, despite all these politicians in Azerbaijan managed to establish the East’s first independence republic in late May 1918.
In this study, the effects of the Russian revolutions in Azerbaijan, debates of different political currents trying to have management in Baku, causes led to independence of Azerbaijan and political maneuvers were evaluated.
