Abstract
HISTORICAL SOURCES OF THE CRIMEA KHANATE
It is not only important to have knowledge of the available literature but also archival sources to reconstruct a state or society’s political, social, economic and cultural history. If the balance is established between the two types of sources, the researched subject can be questioned from different perspectives and can become more comprehensive. In this study, both the archival sources of the Crimean Khanate and studies conducted in Turkey has been tried to be gathered up. In this context, it has been dealt with that specific period from the Khanate under the sovereignty of the Ottoman Empire until to the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca 1774. The aim of this study is to supply a small contribution to researchers who wish to work Crimean Khanate.<
