Abstract
The Importance of Turkish Language and Culture over Identity Conflict and Cultural Integration in the Context of Co-existence in the Balkans
The Balkans has always been remembered as a problematic area with the chaos, wars and death since the Ottoman Empire lost power in this territory. In an area where justice cannot be secured in itself nowadays, how the Ottoman Empire was able to rule this area without any problems for 600 years is still a mystery for the researchers. This issue is one of their hot topics.In this paper, we will highlight how the Ottoman Empire established a peaceful environment in the Balkans and the importance of Turkish language and culture at this point. We will emphasize the importance of Turkish language and culture over identity conflict and cultural integration in the context of co-existence in the Balkans as well.<
