Abstract
Distribution of State Expenditures of in the Black Sea Provinces
This study analyzes the government agricultural investment in Black Sea Region based on its counties for the years 2000-2007. We apply to the Gini coefficient and Lorenz curve. Empirical findings show unequal distribution among the agricultural investments. The average Gini coefficient is 0,64 indicating unequal distribution. 2004 had the highest Gini coefficient (0,76) indicating the worst distribution while 2000 had the lowest Gini coefficient (0,52) indicating the relatively better distribution. This study might suggest to the policy makers to reexamine their agricultural investment policies in the region. <
