Elections General in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan is "the fırst democratic republic of the Muslim Orient", however today it is classified among "non-free countries". Results of the latest elections brought about a situation not witnessed up to now, and the opposition announced that it did not recognize the results. All opponent parties decided to act together with the Freedom Block. Thus, Azerbaijani Democratic Front was formed. There are continuing and accelerating demonstrations in Baku and other cities. Regarding the rising objections from inside and outside, it is now too early to tell about end of the electional process.<
