Abstract
The Introductıon Of Gazel To Sıreth Works And The Gazeles In Hasanoğlu’s “Book-ı Sıret-ın Nebı”
İzzeddin Hasanoğlu is an Azerbaijani poet who lived in 13th century. According to the writer Devletşah Samarkandi lived in 15th century, he was a follower of Sheikh Cemalüddin Ahmed Zakir and was born in a place called Esferayin / Asfarayin in the Khorasan region. Some scholars have claimed that he could not be accepted as Azerbaijani poet because he was born and grown up in Khorasan region. In the 13th century, when Hasanoğlu lived, the same Turkish was spoken in Khorasan, Anatolia and Azerbaijan. However, it is seen that some differences started between the Eastern Oghuz language spoken in Azerbaijan and the Western Oghuz spoken in Anatolia during this period. When we examine Hasanoğlu's mesnevi that we are working on, we come to the conclusion that he lived in South Azerbaijan and used the Turkish language spoken in this region in his work.
Our decedent scholar Fuad Köprülü has introduced Hasanoğlu as one of the Azerbaijani poets, based on the language used in his poems. According to the researches, it has been recorded that Hasanoğlu has 3 Turkish and 2 Persian poems so far. Kipchak poet Seyfi Sarayi translated Persian poet Sadi's "Gulistan" in Egypt and added Hasanoglu's lyric to the end of the translation called "Apardı könlümü bir xoş qemeryüz canfeza dilber". This lyric has reached today and became extremely famous in Azerbaijan. This situation shows that the Mameluk region is the meeting and development place of literary languages in the Harezm-Golden Horde-Azerbaijan-Anatolia geographies. The fact that Hasanoğlu is well known in this region shows the greatness of his poetry.
