Abstract
Origins of East European Jews
As it is not certain who are descendants of the Khazars, and where did the latter go, scholarly world has long been engaged in debates about Turcic Khazar contribution to a deven Turcic origins of the East European Jewry. The author shows in this comprehensive study, by referring to documentary, sa well as onomastic, ethnic, linguistic, archeo-logical, and architectural proofs, that the East European Jewry was mostly formed by the Jews coming from Germany and Bohemia.<
