Abstract

Peculiarities of Syntactic Transformations in Translating Complex Sentences in Slavic-Turkic Literary Translations (Based on the Material of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Translation)

The main syntactic difference between Slavic and Turkic languages is related to the word order models, as Slavic languages have a free word order with the prevailing SVO model while Turkic languages have a fixed SOV-type word order.
