Abstract
Pınarhisar: A Thracian Town According to the Tanzimat Era Temettuat Records
Pınarhisar, a long standing settlement, had been edministred as a town of Vize sanjak during most of the Ottoman rule until the beginnings of twentieth century. It become a town of the vilayet of Edirne in the second half of the nineteenth century for a short time. Finalliy in 1912, it was turned into a town being subject to Kırklareli (Kırkkilise) and stayed so since then.<
