Abstract

The Russian policy of Settling Armenians in the Southern Caucasus and the Occupation of the Azerbaijan Lands
Armenians never had any land in the South Caucasus throughout history, by the very Russian occupation of the region. Armenians came and were brought from Turkey and, partly Iran, mainly in the years 1828-30, 1877-79, 1893-1894 and 1897, and during the First World War. Later, the Republic of Armenia and the Autonomous Region of Naghorno-Karabagh were created in the regions historically not belonging to Armenians.<
