Abstract


Amaseia in Roma Period In the Light of Two Finding which are being Exhibited in Amasya Museum: What do We Know? What We don’t?
In this Study, information about the religious history of city of Amaseia in Roman Imperial Period will be tried to be revealed. This will be done mainly in the light of data which are shed by two findings that from Amasya Museum. These two findings were wearthed in the rescue excavations in Aktarla vilage of Merzifon county and Yassıçal town of capital of province (i.e. Amaseia itself). Though few in number, available sources may give important clues to those who are interested in religious history, about what we kkonw and what we don’t concerning the beliefs of Amaseians in Roman Period.<
