Abstract
Subconscious Ethnic Swearwords
Turkey is a country which is economic, cultural and political bridge between Asia and Europe. Our country has permanent communication with its neighbours like Greece, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Syria, Iraq and as a result of this socio-cultural interaction, way of speaking and linguistic expression is influenced in culture.
In our study, the expressions related with the past experiences of people called ethnic. For example; the people of East and South-east region who were tyrannizes by Armenians over years curse by saying “Armenia” to people to behaves violently. In this study, regional ethnic swearwords are collected and examined linguistically.<
