Abstract


An Interpretation about the Balkan Nationalisms: Different Nations Different Methods
The economic, political, cultural inheritance of the Western European countries produced the nationalism and the national state system. This trend was not pressed in the region where it was developed. It produced different development phases in the countries where the nationalism was spread because of the economic, political, cultural inheritance of those countries and the condition of the period. In the Balkans, during the end of the 19th century, people under the reign of the Ottoman State which was losing the sovereignty preferred the nationalistic way as a solution for their future. They put different kinds of nationalistic examples but these national movements were not strong enough to establish the system as an independent state, no matter these people had economic, political, cultural inheritance and political and economic supports of the imperialistic states.<
