Abstract
The Act of Knyaz Grigori Potemkin on the Annection of Crimea to Russia and Written in Otoman Turkish
In this essay, the firman of Russian general Grigori Potemkin, of which original copy is in Bahçesaray, on the Annection of Crimea, which was declared by him on a Friday prayer, on October 17th 1783, and which was written in Otoman Turkish, was examined. The author gives a transcription of the text and makes a historical evaluation.<
