The Caucasus region has been a major field of struggle of global and regional powers since historical process. With global powers such as USA, EU, China, Russia and regional forces Turkey, Iran, India etc. sometimes confronted and sometimes cooperated in the Caucasus region. As in the historical process, today this region is struggling with many problems. During the Cold War period, for a while, Soviet pressure limited the contact of the countries in the region to the global and regional countries. However, with the end of the Cold War period, especially the South Caucasus countries gained their independence in the Caucasus, the Caucasus countries started to seek new relations with the world. South Caucasian countries, especially Armenia, seem to seek good relations with the global powers outside the West. At this point, it is seen that China, known for its efforts to stand by Russia against the West in the new period, especially in the Soviet period, has come to the forefront with its investments in the region and its place in the international organizations related to the region. In this study, it will be tried to evaluate the policies of China, especially for Armenia, starting from the Soviet period and increasing interest in the region in the post-Soviet period.
