Abstract
The Black Sea Politics of Nato
Black Sea is on thestrategicroutewhichextendingfrom Europe totheCaucasusand Central Asiaregion. Withinthisstructure, duringtheColdWareratheregionwasseen as an importantedgeregionbetweenthe North AtlanticTreatyOrganization NATO andUnion of SovietSocialistRepublics – USSR. Afterthisera a newsecurityenvironmentandthreats has occurredin theregion. Thesenewthreatsare illegal immigration, armstraffickingandsupporting of terrorism.Inthiscontext, thearticlewillfocus on theactivitiesandpolicies of NATO in theregion. Also, thearticlewilltakethesubject in thecontext of the United States’ approachestowardstheregion.<
