Investment Tools in Bolu Throughout Years of 1699-1718
As having a valuable historical heritage, Bolu possesses a variety of şerriyerecordsets (minutes)beginning from the very old one. Especially, the tereke minutes taking place in Şeri’yyerecordsets provides the researchers with a clear vision towards the economical and social structure of the city. The details in these recordsets were included all possessings, credits and loans of the passed away one which should be considered as a vital point to envisage the financial climate of the period. The details about the inheritors also help the researchers to clarify the structural and mathematical traits of the population. This study aims to purport the fiscal preferences of the society lived in Boluneighbourhood during the years of 1699-1718 by elaborating on the investment tools such as properties, herds, gold, and silver stated in the inheritance recordsets.<
