Abstract
Kemence and its Performance in the Tradition of Oral Culture of the Trabzon Region
The main purpose of this study is to analyse the Trabzon's oral culture tradition, which is the one of the main components of the Turkish oral culture tradition. Trabzon which is a Turkish land from pre Turkish history consists of a lot of materials concerning ancient Turkish culture. Kemence and its performance is one of important parts of the oral tradition. Investigating this kind of research on oral culture tradition leads a common heritage.<
